Objectives and target audience
Be able to describe the essential components of AIX, including the Object Data Manager (ODM), Systems Management Interface Tool (SMIT), and logical Volume Manager (LVM). Audience includes anyone responsible for the administration of Unix or Linux systems and wanting a quick overview of AIX and IBM Power Systems. Unix skills are preferable, but not essential. This course is structured as seminar format; there is no hands-on.
